Apple’s WWDC app now supports picture-in-picture on iPads running iOS 9 The new feature has been added to the app with a generic iOS 9 update.
Picture-in-Picture in The WWDC App should be quite handy for developers with iPad. Namely, the application consumes a lot of video clips from lectures and workshops of the Apple Developers Conference WWDC 2015, which took place in June. The videos can be retrieved as livestream or downloaded for offline use. A good overview of the approximately 100 available video presentations from the last conference will be provided by the full-text search engine for developer videos, which was added last month.
The WWDC app is optimized for iPhone, iPad and the Apple Watch for free in the App Store.
